Rinse the dried giant beans under cold water and soak them in a large bowl of water overnight (8-12 hours). Drain and rinse before cooking.
In a large pot, bring fresh water to a boil and add the soaked beans. Simmer for 1-1.5 hours, or until the beans are tender but not falling apart. Drain the beans and set them aside.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
