Ingredients

  • 50 grams Vermicelli noodles (thin)
  • 2 tablespoons Basil seeds
  • 500 milliliters Whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons Rose syrup
  • 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Pistachios (chopped)
  • 4 pieces Cherries (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Soak the basil seeds in 1 cup of water for about 30 minutes or until they swell and become gelatinous. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions in boiling water until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to remove excess starch, and set aside.

Step 3

In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk, adding the sugar and stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

Step 4

Divide the rose syrup evenly between four tall glasses, ensuring an attractive presentation on the inside of each glass.

Step 5

Add the cooked vermicelli equally to each glass over the rose syrup layer.
