  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • 4 Cheddar cheese slices (optional)
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 0.5 cups Sour cream (optional)
  • 1 Avocado slices (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, fajita seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly but avoid overworking the meat.

Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a burger patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the burger patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). If using cheese, place a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
