  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 piece lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 3

Place the chicken thighs in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped habanero peppers. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
