Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board. Use a meat mallet or the flat side of a knife to pound them until they are an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture until well blended.

Step 3

Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Step 4

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Step 5

Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.

Step 6

Place the chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 7

Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

Step 8

Serve the grilled chicken with your favorite sides, such as a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or rice.
