  • 8 pieces Corn tortillas
  • 0.5 cup Mexican crema or sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Queso fresco
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts in a medium pot, cover with water, and season with a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the chicken is fully cooked (about 15-20 minutes). Remove the chicken, allow it to cool slightly, then shred it using two forks. Set aside.

Step 2

In a blender, combine the cilantro, serrano peppers (stems removed), half of the onion, 2 garlic cloves, and chicken broth. Blend until smooth, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Set the sauce aside.
