Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza dough
  • 0.5 cup Marinara sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Provolone cheese
  • 0.5 cup Thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 0.5 cup Thinly sliced salami
  • 0.5 cup Cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour (for rolling)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 10x14 inches (25x35 cm).

Step 3

Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 4

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and provolone cheese evenly over the sauce.

Step 5

Layer the pepperoni, salami, and cooked Italian sausage over the cheese.

Step 6

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the meat layer.

Step 7

Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, creating a tight roll. Pinch the seams and ends to seal.

Step 8

Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 9

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the top and sides of the stromboli with the egg wash.

Step 10

Sprinkle the top with Italian seasoning and garlic powder for added flavor.

Step 11

Using a sharp knife, make a few small slits on the top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape during baking.

Step 12

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 13

Remove from the oven and let the stromboli cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into servings.

Step 14

Serve warm with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
