Ingredients

  • 2 pieces whole garlic bulbs
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 loaf baguette or Italian bread

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice off the top of each garlic bulb to expose the cloves. Place the garlic bulbs on a sheet of aluminum foil, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and wrap tightly in the foil.
