Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 as needed cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps the breading adhere better.

Step 3

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, add the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Dip each pork chop first in the flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Step 5

Next, dip the floured pork chop into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully covered and allowing the excess to drip off.

Step 6

Finally, press the pork chop into the breadcrumb mixture, coating it evenly on all sides. Gently press the breadcrumbs onto the pork chop to ensure they stick.

Step 7

Place the breaded pork chops onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the chops to help them crisp up in the oven.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C) as measured in the thickest part with a meat thermometer. The breading should be golden brown and crispy.

Step 9

Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Step 10

Serve the breaded baked pork chops warm with your choice of side dishes, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad.
