Ingredients

  • 14 oz Canned salmon (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 stalks Green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

1. Drain the canned salmon and transfer it to a medium mixing bowl. Use a fork to flake the salmon into small pieces.

Step 2

2. Add the egg, panko breadcrumbs, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until the ingredients are well-combined and a cohesive mixture forms.

Step 3

3. Use your hands to shape the mixture into 4 evenly sized patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Make sure to press them firmly so they hold together well.

Step 4

4. Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

5. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon patties to the skillet. Cook for 4 minutes on one side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6

6. Carefully flip the patties and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown and warmed through.

Step 7

7. Remove the salmon patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Step 8

8. Serve the salmon patties immediately with your choice of dipping sauce or as a sandwich filling. Enjoy!
