  • 1.5 teaspoons Ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Cayenne pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the molasses and egg to the bowl, and beat until fully combined.

In a separate medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves, salt, and cayenne pepper.
