Ingredients

  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups Spinach leaves
  • 1.5 cups Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 large Cucumber
  • 4 pieces Hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup Cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Wash and dry the iceberg lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in the bottom of a large glass bowl or trifle dish to create the first layer.

Step 2

Layer the spinach leaves evenly over the iceberg lettuce.

Step 3

Halve the cherry tomatoes and layer them over the spinach.

Step 4

Peel the cucumber and slice it thinly. Layer the cucumber slices on top of the tomatoes.

Step 5

Peel and slice the hard-boiled eggs. Arrange the egg slices on top of the cucumber layer.

Step 6

Thinly slice the red onion, and add it as the next layer on top of the eggs.

Step 7

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly as the next layer.

Step 8

Evenly spread the thawed peas over the cheese layer.

Step 9

Top the peas with the crumbled bacon for a crispy layer.

Step 10

In a small mixing bowl, prepare the dressing by combining mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

Step 11

Spread the dressing evenly over the bacon layer, covering the entire surface of the salad to seal in freshness.

Step 12

Cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 13

Before serving, sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish, if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!
