Ingredients

  • 3 cups Broccoli florets
  • 8 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 cups Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or non-stick spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch casserole dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.

Step 2

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch them for 2-3 minutes until they turn bright green and are slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Set aside to cool slightly.
