  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for cooking)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for garnish)
  • 0 maple syrup (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Set aside.

In another bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
