Ingredients

  • 2 medium cucumber
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 0.5 small red onion

Directions

Step 1

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and pat them dry. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice the cucumbers into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.

Step 2

Peel and thinly slice half of a small red onion into very fine strips.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the white vinegar, olive oil, granulated sugar, salt, and black pepper until the sugar and salt dissolve.
