  • 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder on both sides.

In a large, oven-safe skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
