  • 1.5 teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoons Oregano (dried)
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro (chopped, optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season the beef chuck roast with kosher salt and black pepper on all sides.

Step 2

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the beef and set aside.
