  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel or brushing off dirt. Trim the stems if needed and slice the mushrooms into thick slices.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the unsalted butter and olive oil, and let the butter melt completely.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to brown.
