  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 leaf bay leaf
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

Season the beef cubes with salt and black pepper.

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the beef in batches, ensuring it develops a nice crust on all sides. Remove the beef and set it aside.
