Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm milk
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves Minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Extra melted butter (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Step 2

Add the warm milk, melted butter, and the egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture forms a shaggy dough.

Step 3

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Step 4

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Step 5

While the dough is rising, prepare the garlic parsley butter. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic and chopped parsley with the extra melted butter.

Step 6

After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the excess air. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Step 7

Place the dough balls into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish or a similar-sized pan, spacing them evenly. Cover with a towel and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Step 8

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 9

Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the garlic parsley butter mixture.

Step 10

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

Step 11

Remove from the oven and immediately brush the tops with additional melted butter for extra flavor and shine.

Step 12

Serve warm and enjoy!
