Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken tenders
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Lightly grease it with olive oil or cooking spray.

Step 2

Set up three separate shallow bowls for dredging. In the first bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. In the third bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.

Step 3

Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. This helps the coating stick better.

Step 4

Dredge a chicken tender in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg, letting any excess drip off. Finally, press it firmly into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture to coat it completely. Repeat with all the chicken tenders.

Step 5

Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small gap between each piece.

Step 6

Lightly drizzle the coated tenders with olive oil or spray them with cooking spray for extra crispiness.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through, until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reads 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let the chicken tenders rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Step 9

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara, ranch, or honey mustard.
