Ingredients

  • 24 pieces Chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreo)
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1.5 cups Heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 4 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 ounces Milk chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 ounces White chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the crust: In a food processor, pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies until finely crushed. Add the melted butter and process until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Step 2

Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, spreading it out evenly to form the crust. Use a flat-bottomed glass or measuring cup to press it down firmly. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.

Step 4

In a separate chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Step 5

Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly into three separate bowls.

Step 6

Add the melted semi-sweet chocolate and 1/3 of the whipped cream to the first bowl. Mix gently but thoroughly until the mixture is smooth.

Step 7

Add the melted milk chocolate and another 1/3 of the whipped cream to the second bowl. Mix gently until smooth.

Step 8

Add the melted white chocolate, remaining whipped cream, and vanilla extract to the third bowl. Mix gently until smooth.

Step 9

Assemble the layers: Remove the crust from the refrigerator. Spread the semi-sweet chocolate layer evenly over the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 10

Next, spread the milk chocolate layer over the semi-sweet chocolate layer. Smooth the top evenly.

Step 11

Finally, spread the white chocolate layer on top. Smooth the surface and tap the pan gently on the countertop to eliminate any air bubbles.

Step 12

Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 6 hours, or overnight, to set.

Step 13

Once the cheesecake is fully set, remove it from the springform pan. If desired, garnish the top with shaved chocolate or chocolate curls.

Step 14

Slice and serve this luscious triple chocolate cheesecake chilled. Enjoy!
