Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Fruit preserves (such as strawberry, raspberry, or apricot)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix and granulated sugar. Stir in the milk until a soft dough forms.

Step 3

Using a large spoon, drop 8 evenly sized mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between each mound.

Step 4

With the back of a spoon or your fingers, gently make an indentation or well in the center of each mound.

Step 5

In a separate small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Step 6

Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each indentation, followed by 1 teaspoon of the fruit preserves on top.

Step 7

Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges of the drop Danish are golden brown.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and allow the pastries to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
