Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.33 cup Ketchup (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Using clean hands or a wooden spoon, gently mix the ingredients until well incorporated. Avoid overmixing as it can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 4

Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on the prepared baking sheet or press it evenly into the loaf pan.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together the topping ingredients: 1/3 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 6

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 55–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 7

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 8

Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables. Enjoy!
