Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots mix
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 as needed butter or nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.

Rinse the rice under cold water for 1-2 minutes until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
