Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 20 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • 2 stalks Green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 large Egg (beaten)
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Step 2

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the wrapper.

Step 3

Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with beaten egg to serve as glue.

Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal and removing any air pockets. For an optional decorative touch, fold and pinch the corners together.

Repeat the process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
