Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 0.5 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook and crumble the beef until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
