Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 1 can (8-count) Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 as needed Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 as needed Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the cups of a standard muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into small crumbles with a spatula. Drain any excess grease.

Step 3

Stir the barbecue sauce into the cooked ground beef, mixing until evenly coated. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.

Step 4

Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.

Step 5

Press each flattened biscuit into the greased muffin tin cups, shaping them to form a small 'cup' that lines the inside of each muffin mold.

Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the barbecue beef mixture into each biscuit cup, filling it evenly.
