Wash and pat dry the asparagus. Trim the woody ends off the stalks (about 1-2 inches).
Slice the red and yellow bell peppers into thin strips.
If using cherry tomatoes, rinse and slice in half.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
