  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes until it starts to turn light golden. This step toasts the rice and enhances its flavor.
