Ingredients

  • 8 cups filtered water
  • 2 pieces green tea bags
  • 2 pieces chamomile tea bags
  • 10 leaves fresh mint leaves
  • 0.5 pieces sliced lemon
  • 0.5 pieces sliced orange
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large, clear glass pitcher with 8 cups of filtered water.

Step 2

Add green tea bags and chamomile tea bags to the pitcher, letting the strings hang over the rim for easy removal later.

Step 3

Gently bruise 5 of the mint leaves by rubbing them between your fingers to release their oils, then add all 10 mint leaves to the water.

Step 4

Add the slices of lemon and orange to the pitcher, spreading them evenly throughout the water.

Step 5

Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap to keep out debris, and place it in a sunny spot outdoors. Let the tea steep in direct sunlight for approximately 3 to 4 hours to infuse slowly and naturally.

Step 6

Once the steeping time is up, remove the tea bags and discard them. Stir the tea gently to combine the flavors evenly.

Step 7

Taste the tea and, if desired, add up to 2 tablespoons of honey for sweetness. Stir well to dissolve the honey.

Step 8

Serve the tea over ice cubes in tall glasses. Optionally garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint or a citrus slice for extra flair.

Step 9

Store any leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Enjoy your refreshing Earth's Herbal Sun Tea!
