Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 9-inch (23 cm) round or square baking tin with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until pale and creamy, about 2-3 minutes with an electric mixer.
