  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 pieces Burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, for toasting buns (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it heat up for 1 minute.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are softened and translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
