Ingredients

  • 500 grams boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 100 grams snow peas
  • 4 cups cooked jasmine rice, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized strips and place them in a bowl.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, white vinegar, minced garlic, brown sugar, cornstarch, and ground black pepper. Stir until the sugar and cornstarch dissolve completely.

Step 3

Pour the marinade over the chicken strips and toss until well coated. Allow to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
