Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Cream cheese
  • 5 ounces Dried chipped beef
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (finely chopped, optional for garnish)
  • 1 package Crackers or fresh veggies (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese. Let it sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes to soften for easier mixing.

Step 2

While the cream cheese is softening, chop the dried chipped beef into small bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Step 3

Finely chop the green onions, including the green and white parts.

Step 4

Using a hand or stand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Add the chopped dried chipped beef, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and (optional) hot sauce to the cream cheese. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 6

Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on the counter. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the center of the wrap and mold it into a ball shape using your hands. Wrap tightly in the plastic wrap to hold its shape.

Step 7

Refrigerate the cheese ball for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Step 8

Before serving, remove the cheese ball from the plastic wrap and, if desired, roll it in finely chopped fresh parsley for a decorative touch.

Step 9

Place the cheese ball on a serving plate and surround it with crackers, fresh veggies, or your preferred accompaniments.

Step 10

Serve chilled and enjoy!
