  • 120 milliliters milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 150 grams dark brown sugar
  • 120 grams shredded coconut
  • 120 milliliters heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a round 8-inch cake pan. Line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar using a handheld or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Beat the eggs into the butter-sugar mixture one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
