Ingredients

  • 4 cups Filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh ginger root (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons Raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 tablespoons Raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 3 drops Eucalyptus or menthol essential oil (optional, for steam inhalation)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the fresh ginger slices to the boiling water. Lower the heat to a simmer and let it steep for 15 minutes to release its aromatic and healing properties.

Step 3

Turn off the heat and strain the ginger-infused water into a heatproof bowl or mug.

Step 4

Stir in raw apple cider vinegar, raw honey, fresh lemon juice, ground turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well-combined.

Step 5

Pour the elixir into mugs, ensuring it is warm but not excessively hot to avoid burning.

Step 6

For added relief, you may prepare a steam inhalation. Boil another pot of water, remove it from heat, and add 3 drops of eucalyptus or menthol essential oil. Lean over the pot with a towel over your head, carefully inhaling the steam for 5-10 minutes.

Step 7

Sip the warm elixir slowly while breathing deeply to promote sinus relief. Best served twice daily for optimal results.
