Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Whole milk
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 Bread slices
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet chili sauce
  • 2 Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 Lettuce leaves

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula, forming soft scrambled eggs. Remove from heat once cooked and set aside.

Step 3

Toast the 3 slices of bread until golden brown. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.

Step 4

On the first slice of bread, spread 1 tablespoon of sweet chili sauce over the mayonnaise. Top with a lettuce leaf and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Place the final slice of bread (mayonnaise side down) on top to complete the double-decker sandwich.
