  • 0.5 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 large Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 medium Tomatoes (diced)
  • 2 pieces Green chilies (sliced lengthwise)
  • 0.5 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, garlic, ginger, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

In a large, heavy-bottomed skillet or pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently, about 8-10 minutes.
