Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, dried dill, and garlic powder.

Step 2

Dredge the seasoned pork chops lightly in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt.

Step 4

Sear the pork chops in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.

Step 5

Lower the heat to medium and carefully pour the chicken broth into the skillet. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan using a wooden spoon.

Step 6

Stir in the fresh dill and lemon juice, allowing the mixture to simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 7

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, letting the sauce simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 8

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.

Step 9

Cover and let the pork chops cook in the sauce for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).

Step 10

Serve the pork chops hot, garnished with additional fresh dill, and drizzle the creamy dill sauce over the top.
