  • 60 grams Unsweetened applesauce
  • 120 grams Greek yogurt (non-fat or low-fat)
  • 50 grams Honey
  • 2 large Egg whites
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 120 milliliters Skim milk (or almond milk)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Cinnamon (optional, for flavor)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease a 7-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Set aside.

In a separate large bowl, combine the wet ingredients: unsweetened applesauce, Greek yogurt, honey, egg whites, vanilla extract, and skim milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
