Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 5-ounce can canned tuna (in water)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoons paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover them with cold water until the water is about 1 inch above the eggs.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer the eggs for 9-10 minutes.

Step 3

Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for at least 5 minutes. Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

Step 4

Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Arrange the egg white halves on a serving platter.

Step 5

Drain the canned tuna and flake it using a fork. Add the tuna to the mixing bowl with the yolks.

Step 6

Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the mixing bowl. Mash everything together with a fork until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Step 7

Using a piping bag or a small spoon, fill the hollow centers of the egg whites with the tuna mixture.

Step 8

Sprinkle with additional paprika and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Step 9

Chill the deviled tuna eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
