Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 stalks Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

Step 2

Add the olive oil to the skillet with the bacon grease and heat over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and fully cooked. Remove from heat and let cool. Chop the cooked shrimp into small pieces.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, hot sauce, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
