Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a medium-sized saucepan and cover with cold water, ensuring the water is at least an inch above the eggs.

Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, then cover the pan, remove it from heat, and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.

While the eggs are cooking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool, then crumble or finely chop it.
