Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha (or similar hot sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon Green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover them with cold water, ensuring they are submerged by at least 1 inch of water.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the eggs sit for 9 minutes.

Step 3

Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water immediately to stop the cooking process. Allow them to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 4

Peel the eggs carefully and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl, setting the egg whites aside on a serving plate.

Step 5

Using a fork, mash the yolks until smooth. Add the mayonnaise, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha, salt, and black pepper. Mix until creamy and fully combined.

Step 6

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves, evenly dividing it among the 12 halves.

Step 7

Garnish with chopped green onion, cilantro, and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds on each egg.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy your Deviled Eggs Gone Eastern Rim!
