  • 10 sheets Phyllo pastry sheets
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup Chopped almonds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, chopped almonds, ground cinnamon, and sugar. Stir until evenly mixed to create the filling.

Unroll the phyllo pastry sheets and cover them with a damp kitchen towel to prevent drying out.

Cut the phyllo sheets into strips about 4 inches wide. Work with one strip at a time, keeping the rest covered.

Brush the strip with melted butter using a pastry brush.
