Ingredients

  • 227 grams unsalted butter
  • 150 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 280 grams all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams jam (any flavor of your choice)
  • 30 grams powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until a soft dough forms.
