Ingredients

  • 500 grams pork shoulder (thinly sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 large carrot (thinly sliced into matchsticks)
  • 3 stalks green onions (sliced)
  • 250 grams egg noodles
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 0 to taste salt
  • 0 to taste black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced pork, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the pork and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
