  • 1 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15-ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese, for garnish (optional)
  • 0.5 cup sour cream, for garnish (optional)
  • 4 wedges lime wedges, for serving (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
