Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 0 Fresh fruit or syrup (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 9x13-inch baking dish in the oven to warm while you prepare the batter.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

Step 3

Gradually add the flour to the wet ingredients, whisking continuously to ensure there are no lumps. The batter should be smooth and slightly runny.

Step 4

Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and add the butter. Swirl the dish to melt the butter and coat the bottom and sides evenly.

Step 5

Pour the batter into the hot, buttered dish and immediately return it to the oven.

Step 6

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown along the edges.

Step 7

Remove the dish from the oven and let the pancake rest for 2-3 minutes. The center might deflate slightly, which is normal.

Step 8

Slice into portions and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar and top with fresh fruit or syrup if desired.
